    Hello all,

I have a 2016 Tundra with 118,000kms (73,000mi). I have noticed a knocking noise coming from the engine which has occurred on two separate occasions. Both times the knocking stopped after I turned off the truck and started it back up again. A friend of mine who is a mechanic figures it might be a lifter issue. Anyone have a similar issue? TIA

Remove the belt to eliminate all of that, then use a stethoscope or broom handle to narrow it down.
