Any wix filter is a good filter. They have a good reputation because they don't manufacture and market any crap.

Yes, just installed a Wix filter last week. They make great filters. You should also check out their cabin air filter- very nice. They have 2, one regular and one with charcoal to eliminate odors. They are really good quality.

STP (chyna) on the left and Toyota/Denso (USA) on the right. Make sure your Wix isn’t like STP.

WIX air and oil filters used here on my Tundra, Odyssey. Wix oil filter on our Mini Cooper, and Mann air filter.
If you wanna go down the oils filter rabbit hole, Bob is the Oil Guy is the website to check out.
High end Napa’s are rebadged Wix.
Top non OEM filters seem to be…
WIX, high end Napa, high end Purolator and Baldwin. And when I say high-end, I’m talking price wise.
AND Fram is the F-word you don’t want to use with your vehicles…lol

My son came over yesterday to change the oil on his car and brought a Fram with him. I had thought that they fixed some of their issues. Wrong!! The filter, brand new was rusty between the gasket ring and the edge of the canister. Complete crap.

I would not go that far, I drove several trucks 10-35 years ago hundreds of thousands of miles with Fram filters and Quaker state 10-40. Very few mechanical issues with internals and quality of manufacturing wasn't near what we can achieve today. You just might be seeing some surface rust from high humidity storage. Really not a big deal.

All UPS uses on their gas powered trucks are Fram. I’ve used Fram in the past with no mechanical failures….just after doing research and reading, decided to go with WIX.
