Elka Suspension

Currently have the Westcott lift and looking to get out of it. Has anyone gone with the Elka shocks? Was looking at their 2.0” series with the 2”-3” lift. Shows $1800 on their site but have heard it cheaper if you call directly and ordered.

I’m torn between these or just waiting for the bilsteins which are rumored to be end of summer.

I have them, they are great and built to order so give it 6 weeks to receive them. Check the suspension thread for more stuff.

 

Did you have to do upper arms?

 

You don’t have to but you should consider that in the price when you go to 3” lift, it looks good too.

 

How is your review of them on washboard/rough dirt roads?

 

Moderate speed on washboard drove great, the suspension is eating up daily driving nicely.

 

Is the RH/LH turn sway on paved roads the same or better than stock?

 

@Yaboy did you do the 2.0 or the 2.5's? Also any other insight to share now that you've been running them for a while. Really leaning towards 2.5's with about 1" lift similar to pro suspension. Did Bilstein 6112s on my last Silverado and the difference was amazing and getting the itch to make the truck even better and like the Elkas for the option to go basically stock height.

 

I went with 2.0 in the front and the dobinsons 2.6” in the rear just for the cost was cheaper. I think they are a great setup for everyday use but 2.5 would be the cats ass, I would recommend either of them.

 

I ran the ELKA 2.5s Front and Rear and absolutely loved them. I really liked the build quality and performance. I paired them with @TOTAL CHAOS UCA's and had absolutely no complaints. I went through 25 states and thousands of miles on and off the road
