Tried to start truck but only got a split second of power on dash lights. Starter did not turn over or make any clicking sounds. Checked battery voltage and it's 12.7. Noticed a slight ticking or arcing sound from driver's side dashboard and when I looked closely at speedo and tach dials they were slightly bouncing to beat of the clicking sound. Fiddling with key and getting in and out of truck caused clicking to stop at one point and no interior lights or dashboard lights would come on. I'm home now and remembered that I have an aftermarket remote start that the prior owner installed and I've seldom used. Had forgotten about that so didn't try it. Saw a video about starter relay and fuse problems and plan to go back to truck tomorrow morning look at that. Does this problem sound familiar to anyone? Any troubleshooting suggestions? Thanks in advance for help!
