Electric jack won't work on 2017 tundra

Hi All,

have a 2017 Tundra 5.7 crew max. I had an 3500lb electric jack that I used to hook up my race car trailer to my truck. I thought the jack quit working so I bought a new one and it won't work. Seems like there's no power but I have trailer lights. Checked the fuses under the hood and and don't see any blown fuses. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Don

The trailer usually has a battery that powers the electric jack or at least that's what I recall.

Yes the electric jack is usually power off the batteries so it will work when not hooked up. Make sure you wired it correctly or that you don’t have a dead battery. Mine has a fuse by the battery boxes on the front of the trailer.

Also I know sometimes I have to work the trailer plug into the bumper connection to get it to make full contact. Worth a try...

Does the jack work when the trailer is plugged in to 120v?
