I have been reading through the board and have found some good info, but I have to pull the trigger on how to lift the front. The ARB became an option and it will end up being about the same as the CBI or Dobinson.
If you were planning on putting on a ARB summit, what setup would you go with and why?

Which vehicle is this going on? You don't have a Tundra listed in your "vehicles" so is this going on the Taco or the 4R? Hard to provide any feedback when we have no context on what you are asking.

If you are adding the Wescott collars, what shocks do you currently have that you would add them to?

Thanks for noticing! I forgot I had not updated my profile since buying the Tundra. My apologies. This is for a 21 TRD Pro. From all of my research on here and the net, the Eibach springs are a 20lb increase in rating and might offer slightly more lift than a Westcott kit for a 21 Pro.

The Summit weighs around 175lbs. To compensate, I'd go with OLD Man Emu coilovers with their heavier rated spring to get the lift you want. They should have three spring ratings to choose from. That ARB is nice but "heavy". The Eibach springs won't cut it. 20lb increase is peanuts.

Its all good, suspension is just very dependent on the vehicle so wanted to make sure folks knew which one you were asking about.

I don't know a bunch about the Fox shocks on the Pro but a lot of folks have full fronts with a winch and have run the Westcott collars. But I'm not sure what weight is the cut off when you would want stiffer coils. Sorry.

I second looking into Old Man Emu- nice products for toyota vehicles. I run their light suspension on my old 4th gen 4runner. 100k miles on that setup and it rides as good as they day it was installed.

I picked up some CBI sliders and coachbuilder shackles today. The seller of the sliders has built up a few trucks. His point to me, on the front suspension is “why be married to the fox shocks/coils if they are not meant for the application” and there is quite a bit of truth to that. I’ll look at OME as an option. It would seem that eibach is missing an opportunity to just make their TRD Pro spring in a higher rating.

I’m leaning toward the CBI Adventure series bumper. I like the look of it and the shipping weight, according to CBI is 130 lbs. That is considerably less than the ARB. I probably won’t put a winch on the truck. For my intended use, I’m not getting into anything that a traction adding device and traction boards won’t get me out of. I feel comfortable going with the Westcott lift with this bumper and not suffering any performance and handling issues with the stock suspension. Thoughts?
