2007 tundra with 4.7. No fuel pressure. Wont fire with starting fluid. Check engine light will not come when key is turned on. Code reader will not correspond with the truck. It says the connection is not correct. Please unplug and check connection. Does this sound like a bad ecm? Does a new ecm need to be programmed by a dealer in order for it to work? Thanks

You can try to remove the ECU from the vehicle and make an adapter harness to connect the scantool directly to the ECU to verify its toast or there is a ln issue in the car.
