I’ve always run Duratrac but they are so dang expensive now. I see many other great tires and wondering what you guys would recommend?

I have a 2024 Crewmax Limited TRD with stock wheels and tires. I don’t want to buy new wheels, just get a Duratrac type tire for this winter.

I live in SLC and want a tire that does well in snow, but isn’t loud and rides nice.

    Thoughts and recommendations?

I’ve always been a duratrac fan, have had them on all my trucks, probably 5 vehicles and never had any problems and also fairly decent in the Manitoba winters. I was convinced to try the AMP terrain pros, they have great a warranty and I can’t seem to find any negatives with them. With them being $1300 (CDN) mounted, basically half the cost of duratracs or bfg’s, I figured I’d give them a try. Unfortunately I don’t have many miles on them to let you know how they perform, maybe others on here can.

Falken Wildpeaks, the real ones are a great all around tire. Living in New England I can easily cruise highway speeds in snow, in 2nd. They are also great in the rain and look pretty rugged.
