Icon stage 5,method 18 x 9, BFG KO2s, Bushwacker flares, tinted windows,Havoc HST running boards,Weatherguard slimline box, DSR1, JL Audio 900/5 amp, two 10W0 subs in a box, hertz centro in the front and Hertz Uno in back doors
I have searched all over you tube and the internet and can’t find a simple video that explains how to set up basic Functions on the DSR1. First off I love my system but I would like to Tweak the sound pitch and sound stage.
I have Hertz Centro Up front and Hertz Uno in rear doors, I currently have gain turned down on Perfect tune app for rear doors to -2db while fronts are 0. Still can barely notice a front sound stage, it sounds awesome but sounds like it’s in surround mode.
Also the tweeters are a bit on the bright side and James helped me change some settings using the app but they are still a bit too bright on many songs when cranked( my wife describes them as fuzzy sometimes)
James has been there for me every step of the way but I want to teach myself how to adjust my equipment and not call him for every tuning question. I feel he delivered above and beyond and it’s up to me to understand/learn how to make adjustments in tuning for me.

If we had some experts help us with maybe a sticky strictly dedicated to a dsr1 it could benefit many members because that appears to be the way many are going that are removing stock amp and keeping factory head unit.

I have not seen anything on the interweb and I've spent hours out there just using trial and error. You just have to play with x-overs, slopes, and the EQ settings. I will say the time delay did not work correctly for me - when I inputted the distance to each speaker the the furthest speaker should've had no delay and the closed the greatest delay and delay times were all over the place with some way too delayed - it caused an echo. I used a website that does the same calculations and manually put in the time delay. Now it sounds great.

Mine came programmed by James as well but you can go into app for DSR1 and make adjustments to your preference.
