Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing I am. I have a DSR1 in a 2019 Tundra with JBL and I'm having voice assistant volume issues. First, I can't adjust the volume of the voice prompts at all. On top of that, if I use the voice assistant to place a call, it actually resets the call volume to that of the voice. I have to adjust call volume to restore it to what it should be. Is this how it's working for you guys too?

I've had nothing but bad luck with this thing.

Have you checked to see if the volume issue when making a call its not an issue with the phone?

Android phones have a "max safe" volume for Bluetooth and headphones. It lowers the volume to about 75% when the connection is first made. You then can turn it up the rest of the way and it will remain that volume until you disconnect.

Absolutely. The volume issue is contained solely within the radio.

Yeah I'm up to date, and I've seen the same behavior since I got it in January. Does anyone have a DSR1 installed to compare this behavior?

The 02/20/2019 dated firmware looks like it addresses this issue, or from what I believe you are describing.

Have you updated the "DRSA" firmware for your DRS1?

Yeah I'm fully up to date. I was hoping for a fix due to that log entry but no luck. I'm surprised no one else is experiencing this, or speaking up about it. I'm working with the maestro folks to see what's going on.

@phogallen the issue in particular is that phone call volume changes to the volume of the voice assist after using the voice assist to make a phone call. Also, while in a phone call and a text message is received, the phone volume also drops to that of the text message chime.
