So... my left DRL/turn signal bulb burnt out. So upon replacing it I am unable to get the new bulb to stay in the socket without wanting to slide right out. I've tried several brands now, and can't get it to stay in the socket. I tried electrical tape to hold it in, but evidently that bulb gets super hot and melts the tape--even if the tape isn't touching the glass of the bulb itself. Any ideas?

I figured out the problem and have a solution. The sockets are 8 years old, and since they are an "always on" light while the truck is on they get worn down and burnt out. So ordering a new socket is my only choice.

Thank you for that link. Cheaper than the Amazon prices I was seeing at $12.99 each. --When I went to check out, the shipping cost more than the two sockets combined... so, I might have to swing by NAPA, and see if they are any cheaper.

I'm not sure if Napa will have it but if you print that link and take it to your dealer, they will price match it. Many of them do. I saved $150.00 that way when I bought my front sway bar.
