Ran wiper with ice/snow on windshield and it seems the drivers side now rests an inch or two further along its arc than before. how do I fix this? never had this issue before.

Might need repositioned. Mine actually came loose and I had to re-tighten the nut for the arm. Once I did this I noticed it was sitting high, so just I just loosened the nut and repositioned the wiper arm.

Well mine just got jammed on some ice that slid off the roof. Get to loosen it and reposition again. Not sure why I never had this issue with prior vehicles? I suppose that's better than possible motor or mechanism damage.
