Driver lock won’t unlock NOT actuator

Recently, my driver side door won’t unlock. I can only unlock it with the key. Fob and door button lock it along with all other doors, but won’t unlock the driver door. First thing I tried was resetting everything, then left the battery off all night. Looked online, and everything pointed to a bad actuator. Replaced the actuator, still same issue. Even plugged up the old actuator to the passenger side and it worked fine, so some how the actuator just isn’t getting the signal to unlock. Checked and cleaned all the connections inside the door panel, still nothing. Any other ideas?? Thanks!

 

Check for signal at the drivers door actuator and follow it back to where the signal disappears. At least that’s what I would do.

 

EXACT same issue. Just replaced the driver's door actuator this morning. It still will only unlock using the key.

 

Did u change to led bulbs recently?

 

OP - when you say "actuator" do you mean the electrical motor? Those are known problem parts and are a pain to swap out. I had this issue on my 2014 and just never fooled with it due to the complexity (for me anyway) of replacing.

Also - provide your vehicle year /trim etc. that could help those who are smarter than me with diagnosing your problem.
