New owner of 2019 SR5 crewmax with trd off-road package here (I just bought it last Sunday and put a bit over 300 miles on it). I just started noticing that everytime when I started the truck and go, once it goes above 1000 rpm and shifts to 2nd gear, there is a sudden bump/kick. It feels like something was released, more like an electronic switch than mechanical thing. I can feel and hear it from gas paddle. It only happens at a fresh start and would not happen if I just stop completely and keep engine running (put it into "P" or simply stop for a light). Is it what people call "driveline bump"? I had driven LC and then been driving LX470 for years but never had similar experience. Yesterday, when I drove a friend's 14' LX570, at the first stop sign, experienced the similar but more violent bump/kick. I even thought someone hit the rear bumper.

I have been experiencing something very similar. Basically a bump / jolt in the shift from 1st to 2nd. I experience it when the truck is cold (on the way to work / on the way home from work) and after 20 minutes or so it goes away. I notice it most often when I take off at stop lights on the way to the freeway. Here's a link to one of the other threads I commented on...
