In the past month (Sept. 2020), I've noticed that after driving for 30 - 45 minutes at varying speeds up to 60 mph, my 2011 Tundra 4X4 CrewMax starts to feel like it's going over ridges in the pavement. Sort of like bulldozer tracks have indented the pavement. It just starts with no warning. It has happened on different stretches of road. It goes away or becomes less obvious if I slow down to 35 mph or so. It doesn't happen if I'm just starting out or going on shorter (less than 20 minutes) trips. I'm concerned that this is a drive train issue. Any thoughts on what's causing this before I head to my dealer?

Thanks for the welcome, Jonesy. We're at the geographic opposites in the USA - I'm in Maine. Getting some nice colors here as Fall is starting.

We're still roasting here in The Pacific South West. I'm awaiting the more fall like weather conditions and I'm certain our firefighters are too.

Probably not it, but look up front diff needle bearing. When it goes bad it feels like driving on rumble strips, but goes away in 4wd.

I’d start with obvious stuff - rotate and balance tires, check diff bolts torque, u joints. When was the last time fluids were changed? Is the rear diff howling?

Possible driveshaft carrier bearing or u-joint play?
