    Hi,

    A solution I found is replacing Fuse AM2. Note that it's a half-size fuse.

The issue stems from aftermarket LED bed lights that were incorrectly spliced into the tail lights.

The fuse blows if I open the door and hit the brakes at the same time.

I've marked the fuse with a sharpy so it's easy to ID now. Quick change.

The first time, I pulled every fuse. The dealer had incorrectly noted replacing a 5amp, not 7.5, also, they didn't note the AM2 fuse location.

It's blown taillight bulbs at the same time, not every time.

NOTE, New LED taillight bulbs wouldn't work. The dealer had it because the last time I replaced the fuse I had to replace a tail bulb too, driver's side. I tried two new LED bulbs that wouldn't light. Took it in for troubleshooting and it was the new LED bulbs, they also tried them as they were on my console. They installed an OEM bulb...solved.

    I hope this helps someone.
