Would anyone with a 4x4 double cab with stock suspension mind measuring front the center hub to the bottom of the fender?

I'm redoing my whole front end, starting to put stuff back together, and would like to pre-load my suspension to the correct ride height so I can torque my control arms at ride height.

Looks like most of the ones I assume are stock height are about 20.25" to 20.5". How exact does it need to be?

Wondering if after I put the steering knuckle back on I should mount the wheel, lower the truck, crawl under with a paint marker and mark witness marks for the ride height, then lift it back up.
