What’s up gang I’m needing some help picking a good set of speakers for all four doors with a nice bump when the bass hits but not so much since I’m adding a subwoofer into the cab. Any suggestions will help

I’m hearing Polk audio will be best for what I’m looking for. I’m needing highs, loud and clear.

Go with 6.5" components. You'll need to get speaker adapters.

I don't remember the exact price, but i think it was around $700. It was close to the current group buy for $899.99 for everything you need, but the current group buy includes a sub and enclosure. I opted not to get a sub.

I'm JL C1-650s front and rear on a JBL Club 5 channel amp and a pair of JL 10W0 behind the seat from tech12volts. Love the setup mids and highs are awesome and subs hit just hard enough.

Would you all have an opinion of the pioneer ts-m650pro mid bass? They look and sound legit.

I was thinking just going with some components in front and ts-m650pro mids in the rear.

Just a quick FYI, You'll probably need to give him a ring. I'm all set now so don't take this as any sort of commentary on James but I didn't have any luck going the email or private message route. Just pick up the phone and call the man. He'll get you set up with the right system for your truck and budget.

@prerunnerseth what model is your amp? Watt rating as well. I’m doing research on your setup and might just go with that.

It's a JBL club 4505. I got it from tech12volts. When I ordered I hadn't planned on doing the door speakers so I got the c1-650s locally but James should be able to hook you up on those.

They would probably be just fine, though, to set them to properly play mid bass duties you will need an amp that has bandpass crossover setting or a dsp.

I went the cheaper route and got a pair of shallow mount 2 ohm Memphis audio 6x9’s for the front and component Jbl’s for the rear. Then upgraded the dash speakers with 2 ohm 3.5” speakers. Also put a kenwood ksc-sw11 under passenger seat. Very big difference for not a lot of coin. Will add an Amp in the future.

Hey so I purchase 2 sets of JL Audio C2-650 components. I’m looking for a great quality amplifier for them. They’re 60 watts RMS. Any suggestions?

I’ll be running my subs with a different amp.

There are a lot of great brands to pick from there. Personally, the Zed Audio, Sound Solution Audio, and Soundqubed are the brands I really like and would suggest looking at.
