I think that depends on what you're trying to accomplish? Will you be keeping the stock amp and headunit?

I would definitely go the James route then. I bought the kit he has/had on sale for like $680. It included all new component door speakers, sub, amp, bracket, adapters and hardware to do the overhaul.

You do have an amp under your passenger seat, I thought the same thing.

In the center of the dashboard there's a place for a speaker but I pop it open and there's not a speaker in there and there's wires coming up but it has this little black thing hooked on the top of it and I unhooked it and it looks like something electronics are those the wires for the speaker or is that for something else some kind of sensor

I used Infinity Kappa components in front doors. I got a good deal on Crutchfield with door and wire adapters. Just watch for sales. They sound good with amp I got from Taco Tunes. I have not replaced rear speakers yet. I have rarely have passengers so I may not replace them. I just tune fader towards fronts. Added a Rockford 10" sub behind rear seat. Tight fit but shallow box works.

Just installed the tech 12volt kit from James. He just helped out a ton of people on this forum. I highly recommend getting in touch with him.

I think those wires go to the ambient light sensor on top of that center speaker grill. They are not for a speaker, do not cut them (@T-Rex266) lol.
Its probably not worth adding a center channel speaker. If you really want to add something, check out tech12volts, he makes a custom bracket that holds 2 JL audio c1 tweeters. The stock speaker for that area is a thin mount 3.5".

I’m not sure if the 2018 has the “6 x 9” or the 6 1/2 in the front door but my 2019 has the 6x9 and dash tweeters so I have the IS 690 TOY components in the front.....pay no attention to the “does not fit”, the fit perfectly with no other brackets necessary and when amplified the sound really nice and great bass response from the woofers (you almost don’t need a sub with these!). For my 2019 there is also the IS 165TOY that will fit exactly in the doors as well but you would have to modify for the teeter component so I went with the ICU 165 for the rear doors. You will have to make a template for these but it’s pretty simple and again, they sound really good! Highly recommend these but again not 100% sure what sizes are in the 2018 compared to 2019.
