Them door sills are the only thing holding my rockers together right now! Naw, @BubbaW sent me an extra set just for crackie. His only stipulation was that I return the favor one day.

When you consider the OEM door sill protection is less than the lowest number in the polling options ($50), why isn't "Under $50" an option?

I like the skateboard tape suggestion in the other thread. But I wouldn't color match because white tape would look nasty after about a week.

Did some of these trucks not come with the "Tundra" sill? I think it's listed as an option on my truck, but not sure.

My truck has some weird vinyl looking things in the sill. They say Tundra so might be factory or dealer installed. I've never liked them really, they peel up at the ends.

Yeah, mine never came with it and sure enough I had a large gouge in my door sill upon delivery (brand new). Fortunately they were able to buff it out.

To be fair, my door sill is all dinged up from my seatbelt getting crushed in the door when you close it. I don’t like looking at it. It would be nice to do an out of sight, out of mind thing.
    So option 1.

How much would a scotchbrite pad, a roll of tape, a sheet of plastic, and a rattle can of bed liner cost? 2 or 3 quick coats and it should be trouble free.

The poll is flawed. Who can upgrade their door sills for $299 or under? Yeah, right... These Gen2 sills will work on my 05. The manufacturer recommended shoe goo for any gaps. #stoked!!!

When I was younger, we would put shoe goo on the tail of our skateboard, light it on fire, and then skate around.
