Door overlays

Anyone had decent luck with the door overlays to cover the silver that you can buy on Amazon? I have mine painted but keep finding myself touching the damn things up because people that ride in the truck scratch them. Total PIA. If the overlays work good I would consider replacing. Would just be nice if you could buy the entire piece in black. I tried vinyl wrapping them but didn’t have the knack for it.

Everyone knows they can just order SR interior parts instead of overlays. Right?

Very interested in this. Do you have a part number for the silver trim in the door panels? I was under the impression the door panel came as one piece. These parts are plastiwelded in.
