Door Handle Removal - Taped

Hello,

I am new to this forum so bear with me. I recently purchased a 2019 SR5 that came with blacked out emblems, door handles, and mirror caps. Unfortunately they are glossy black and I am going for a matte black look.

The edges of the door handles lift up easily and I can see what appears to be double sided tape on the center of them.

How would I go about removing these? Or should I just buy new matte black door handles?

Those are covers. You should be able to heat them gently with a hair dryer and pull them off and then clean up any remaining residue.

 

So essentially remove them like I would the badges? Awesome.
