Hello! I just picked up my 2025 Tundra Limited.

I can unlock the truck touching the handle but when I touch to lock all I get is a long beep. I briefly searched the forum but did t see anything and the manual isn’t much help.

    Any ideas?

Grab the little marks at the front of the handle on either front door. Need Fob with you

This. Just touch the mark on the top front.

I did that. It’ll unlock fine. Won’t lock, just a long beep.

    Factory installed self-destruct device :D
It thinks something is unlocked or it detects a keyfob inside or a safety lockout such as not in Park etc.

Well I’m an idiot, lol. When I cleaned out the car I traded I put the other fob in the bag of stuff and it was in the back seat.

Problem solved! Thanks for your help.

Grab the handle to unlock, but to lock you should see a divot on the top/forward part of the handle. You just touch there with a finger and it should lock.

Like a lot of others here i went so long with only one FOB I didn't even think that could have been the problem. Good to have a resolution.

    Welcome to the forums.

    Thanks again.

I stopped on the way home and went to lock it and didn’t see the divot on the side like other Toyotas. I was like WTF? This truck has all this stuff and no door sensors?

Anyhow, thanks and I love it so far.

From the passenger side front door, it will unlock all the doors when doing the hand unlock. From the drivers door, you have to hold it for 3 seconds-ish and it will unlock a 2nd time unlocking all doors. You'll hear the other doors unlock. Just if you didn't already know.
