Door autolock on 2020 SR5?

I found this setting messing with it, but I don't think it works or I'm misunderstanding what it's for ... because 30 seconds after I get out it doesn't relock. Is this saying my truck has to be on and 30 seconds after an unlock it will lock again? If so, that seems kinda dumb since it already has a lock on shift to D

 

I believe that's how long it will take the truck to relock itself if you unlock it but don't get in. It's a security feature in case you hit the key fob by accident.

 

Hmmm interesting I'll test that out and see ... I wished it was auto lock after getting out. Thats a nice feature haha

I found the 30 second relock feature annoying. If I unlock the truck, I want the truck unlocked. Before I disabled it, I would unlock the truck from a distance, pick up something to take over to the truck and when I get there the stupid thing locks back up and if I have my hands full, I have to start all over.
