I'm trying to figure out if the plugs have ever been changed. None of my records mention any plug changes. To me this plug looks too good to have 136K miles on it but I'm not familiar with plug wear characteristics on newer engines like my Tundra.

I checked the part number and you can buy the exact plugs so I'm aware they're OEM. Based on condition is this a 136K mile plug?

Thinking no. Maybe 50-75 k miles.
    Probably changed from originals.

I'm thinking that too. They seem too good for high mileage. The engine runs fine.
I've pulled to check the original plugs on our '06 Acura MDX when it had around 50K and they looked much better than these.
The 4.7L has a change interval of 120K. I'd be curious to see what OEM plugs look like then.

I changed the plugs in my brothers 09 Tundra 5.7L last summer at 140k. They were original and looks almost identical for wear as the OP.

The plugs did have a little resistance removing them plus the threads have crud on them.
I'm trying to debate whether it's worth shelling out around $90 for a set plugs. I need to keep from needlessly spending any money as I much as I can right now.

Chances are good that it’s original, unless you have knowledge of the previous owner or maintenance history that would tell you otherwise

At that mileage, change your plugs.
