    Hello all,

I just bought a used 2019 tundra limited crewmax with the JBL system.

I noticed the sail tweeter housing for the front driver/passenger have a slanted gap. Thinner on outside and wider as it goes toward the hinge.

Unsure if this is normal from factory or if I need to remove and place back on?

Unsure if work was ever done to vehicle on these panels. Thanks again!

Looks normal to me. It's just not that tight fitting of a piece.

That's pretty much exactly what mine look like. My JBL system is hot garbage. Already replaced two blown speakers, have at least 2 more to replace.

As others have said, looks perfectly normal. If you want to take the sail panel off, it's just held on by 3 clips. Word to the wise, back of the panel has plastic tabs that pinched into metal clips that go into the door. If /when removing, sometimes the metal clips will stay in the door. Be careful removing them if that happens because they have a knack for popping into the door and falling down in. If the fitment bugs you, throw some sound deadener over the holes, place the metal clips on back of the panel, and then puncture the sound deadener to reattach it, gives you a little tighter of a fit and more ability to finesse it.

Normal for a piece of plastic held by clips. Give it a twist and you can probably even out the gap width!
