I have three stickers on the door post. 1st appears to be from the factory and shows 18x8 rims with P255/70r18 tires. Next Sticker shows LT 255/55/20 tires (The wheel and tire setup from the TSS/Gulf States package). The last sticker is a small yellow sticker saying modifications have reduced the load carrying capacity by 153 lbs.

So does the wheel and tire package cause the reduction? If not what modifications? The truck appears to match the factory sheet pulled from Toyota.com

It must, because the only other item on mine (besides the bedside stickers and blacked out badges) were the side steps, and I'm sure those don't account for the whole 150 lbs.

It means that the dealership added 153 pounds of options. Are the wheels the only thing they added?

I have 2020 TSS. Like you said they add wheels and rims and they add the weight of the the spray-in Linx bed, running boards (nerf bars), bedlights in back, tail gate lock.

    My 2014 TSS package.
The only thing I have left is the wheels and a door sticker that reads 49psi....

Custom bug spat pattern hood, grill & bumper. Dead Live Oak leaf collection under hood, cowl and lower fenders. Beach sand custom floor covering.
It's even lower when you subtract the 153 pounds noted on the yellow sticker.

I hear ya, it is a 1/2 ton pickup and it would be nice if it was capable of another ~1K#s or so or if they made an HD option.

Did some reading in the owners manual and 1240 is what it left the factory at. Since that number is also on the second tire sticker, I take it to mean the wheel and tire swap was a wash. Thus, the 153 is likely the bedliner and step rails. So a payload of 1087. I guess it trully is a half ton. Also can't believe it has a lower payload than the Hyundai Tuscon I traded in.

But put 4 people in it and thats say 700 lbs. and the net payload is 387.

Another part of this I don't get is the GVWR is 7200. The combined Axle ratings are 8150. So the truck overall can carry 950 pounds less than the axles can support.

Mine says 46 psi. The higher psi is due to the load range D BFGs
