Does a Pop N Lock Tailgate Adapter work with aftermarket car alarm/key fobs

Hey Guys - can those of you that have installed the pop n lock on their tailgate tell me if I would be able to get an aftermarket alarm/auto start key fob and keep the same functionality? I’m assuming I could since all of the locks would work together, but I wanted to confirm.

 

As long as the door locks work with the aftermarket key fob then the pop n lock will too.

 

I have viper alarm now and it works with locking the tailgate along with the other doors...granted that you have them wired to the door locks

 

Thanks Fellas! I assumed that would be the case - but I wanted to confirm before I invested in the pop n lock and an aftermarket auto start system.
