So I'm in the market and ready to pull the trigger on some shocks for my rear. My question for the past few weeks has been, do I really need the reservoir? I don't do any serious off-roading or towing. If it matters I'm currently on a 6" lift with coils going in the front. Besides my desire to want to have the best available and just the drool look of a reservoir (poser) it's hard for me to justify the price difference between the monotube and the reservoir. I can use the money on different mods in the future I tell myself, I just don't want to have possible buyers remorse. One of those items being some @Coachbuilder1 shackles, but I'm not even sure what size to get for those? I've been planning on going with +1s as I'm fairly content with the current stance.

What say you? Do I "really" need a rear shock with a reservoir? Should I just go with the monotubes and some shackles? Thanks for any help.

    Pic of stance for reference:
