DIY Audio Upgrade Options

Looking to upgrade the stock Entune audio system in my 2017 Dualcab. Been reading tons on this forum about Tech12Volts and how great their product and service has been. I checked their site and they have 07-19 TUNDRA CREWMAX/DOUBLECAB JBL COMPLETE AUDIO PACKAGE available and I'm just wondering if anyone has purchased this for their truck?

I'm trying to find an audio upgrade that I can install myself. Admittedly I have minimal experience in car audio installation (high school project) but I'm comfortable running electrical wiring, splicing, and modifying the truck where necessary.

Is the Tech12Volts a plug and play package? I've sent them an email but they have a recent update saying it may take them some time to respond.

Update: James just emailed me mentioning that while nothing in car audio is necessarily plug and play, many of his customers have installed this package without need for instruction. I'm going to purchase from him and see how it goes

 

I installed a package from him. While it wasn't super easypeezy, he make it doable with the pre wired connectors and diagrams. I had to wire the amp and RCA ends but that was it. All in all very doable for someone with a few tools and the gumption. He includes everything like crimp connectors, cables, zip ties. Screws, adapters....everything.

 

There are only good things said about James at tech12volts here on these forums.

I already had a complete system to install so m not an actual customer of theirs, but
If I was looking for a packaged deal from someone with an impeccable reputation, I'd go straight to them and that would be that.

I wouldn't normally compliment a company that I've never used before but you can find many interactions here between them and forum members and I'm not aware of any that didn't end with tech12volts being highly praised by the members here.

 

Back in august I installed a new Kenwood Amp and a Line Output Converter and Sub.
Found all my answers here and on another Tundra forum.
BTW - I had no prior install experience.
