Hello guys, I noticed these 2 wires underneath my 2021 CM steering wheel (close to the parking brake), a black and red wire disconnected from something or just hanging loose. It looks to me it may be from the anti-theft system light (circled what I assume is where the light usually is in pic #2)? I am the 2nd owner of this truck, so I was thinking the previous owner may have disconnected the light due to it being annoying or something like that. I haven’t noticed any issues driving or any dash lights on.

If my assumption is right, would it be difficult to put it back together? It looked like it was just a couple of screws that hold the anti-theft light thingy together. Thanks!

    That looks like aftermarket wiring.
You won't find OEM wires encased together like that.

Can see where it leads to?
If it is the light to an alarm, it would only be on when the truck is locked and armed.

You can remove the door threshold, the kickplate panel, two bolts in that lower panel and it will pop off if you want to look behind it.

Maybe take a clearer pic of the bottom of the panel?
I can't really tell what I'm looking at..

I'd also test it with a DMM with the key on and see if it has power..

Did some research - looks like this is a dealer installed alarm that was disconnected. I will look into it if I should remove it all together or just ignore it.
