Disconnected wire engine bay - where to reconnect?

    2008 CM Limited 5.7 - Anyone know what this wire is supposed to go to? Noticed it was loose when replacing my engine filter…assuming it’s some sort of ground wire but no idea where it’s supposed to go. 2nd pic is where one end it attached to…other end is loose. Engine seems to start and run fine…no CEL or any warnings on the dash

    Looks like it’s the same as the ground wires attached to side panels in engine compartment. It’s got the little tab on end like similar ones in my truck.

    That ground wire attaches to the body right behind the air box right here.

    Thank you - I ended up attaching it to another ground point that I was able to get it to without having to mess with unmounting the air box!
