Many months ago I read instructions how to ground two wires (maybe it was only one) together to disable the TPMS dash light. I made a search on this web site and can't find anything on it. Can anyone point me to the post(s) that describes this, please? I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra 4L regular cab pickup.

    Pictures would be nice too.

PS: I do have one screen shot of directions how to disable it, but I would like to be sure if it's correct. See below. I'm switching from 16" rims to 17's. Truck comes with 16" from factory. The tire sensors on my truck look very old and I don't know how many are working, if any. I'd like to have rubber valve stems installed on the new 17" rims. Any help would be appreciated.

    Disable TPMS:

    Pink wire with black stripe

    White wire with black stripe

Use Scotchlok to connect them together

    Lower glove box door

Remove back of glove box (three screws)

Look up toward radio for modular

Thank you BubbaW. Just the info I needed. Don't know why I couldn't find the info when I searched. I'm new here, so I'm not sure what I'm doing...on here. You da man!

Well I should say I'm not really new here, but I've not been on here for many moons.
