    just did power steering flush and my reservoir is dirty. Looks like got some black crud coated on the inside where the old fluid sat. Is there a special way to clean it?

    If it were mine, I'd remove it entirely from the truck and put a nylon-bristle bottle brush on a drill, and go to freakin' town on it with Dawn dish soap and a 5 gallon bucket of warm water.

    Mine cleaned up easily enough with paper towels, didn't necessitate removal, but I would've if I had needed to!

    Take it off and clean it. I used little crushed ice cube before to clean plastic tanks. Time to shake it, lol.
