Any of you good folks run an auxiliary fuel tank in the back of your Tundra? Not to refuel your Tundra, but to refuel equipment like ATVs, boats, tractors, and other equipment?

If you like what you have, please post recommendations or suggestions.

I use 5 gal tote tanks (the red ones with yellow cap like you see everywhere). That works fine for my zero turn and UTV most of the time. I'm fixing to buy a tractor and I am assuming I'll need more storage capacity for the diesel that goes in it to keep from having to run down the road for diesel too often. Was thinking of keeping a tank in my truck bed with the pump/nozzle so I'll always have diesel on the "farm".

I read about the "gas caddies" that store from 14 - 30 gals, but it appears to me I would need to physically lift those into my truck bed to take them down the gas station and then lift them out when I get back. Probably a 2 person job for the larger size. For that reason I'm wondering about a permanent fuel tank in the back of my Tundra so that there's no lifting, and I can fill it up whenever I'm at the pump anyway.

I'm open to any suggestions though.

    I have a 2015 Tundra Crewmax SR5

    Thanks!
