Diamondback order - what anchors? Custom?

About to order my first Diamondback SE and debating number and type of anchors I want.
I expect to be strapping cases and coolers to the top.
I like the look of the new lo-pro anchors for the switch back but they might limit me too much on straps. But I do feel like 8-12 of the standard will look like over kill on this stock truck.
Anyone tried any different anchor systems on these?

 

I have the SE and have found the four standard anchors to be perfect. But I've only had larger loads on top. If the cases are smaller then more anchor points down the side may make things more secure. I don't see anything wrong when I see another Diamondback that has eight anchors. They look fine to me.

 

Yep, I have a bunch of waterproof hard boxes/cases and would like to be able to just add a couple when needed or strap my kayak to the top, etc so would want a couple more.

 

I had DiamondBack install 12 anchors when I ordered my SE. I've used the anchors to secure various types of cargo so they've proven to be very functional.

 

I have the max number of anchors on mine directly from diamondback and I'm glad I did. Very useful and looks more badass than it does silly. The cost is minimal for the anchors and having them installed before shipping. If you can swing a little extra and plan to keep it a while I highly recommend the HD. It's so much stronger.

 

I have 12 on my hd cover exactly like @Ray D (4 on each side and 2 on each end).

I use them all the time. I think it looks great and haven’t had any issues

 

Thanks. For better or worse I ordered the SE and 4 additional cleats installed. Seemed like reasonable place to start.
