Diamondback HD Headache Rack

Anyone get the headache rack for the diamondback? Would like pictures and opinion?

 

I got one for my Ridgeline so I didn't push something heavy through the back window. I decided not get one for the Tundra and I also went with the SE model which is a bit lighter than the HD. The box on the Ridgeline was 5 feet and the Tundra is 6.5 feet so I can put more things into the bed. I like the clear view out the back. I also have my Thule racks mounted to the cover so the headache rack would just be more stuff on the cover.

Also, I went with the fancy HD Cab Guard.

If there are things that you will load ontop of your cover, and these are long enough to hit the window, it would be a good move to avoid smashing the back window.

PBNB- do find plenty of adjustability with the Thule hd rack? Are they easy to remove and by chance once removed do the channels accept other tie down eyelets used on standard L tracks? Getting an HD smooth and will likely attach L track vice the supplied tie down points. If the Thule setup accepts adjustable slide in tie downs I would just get this instead. Thanks.

 

diamondback covers have a yakima option that looks very adjustable. the thule rack can be made to fit the cover but it requires some cutting and drilling to get it right. the DB cover is a great starting point to add things to.

I got some extra tiedowns (cleats) from diamondback when I ordered mine.
