Has anyone fit a diamondback cover on their 3rd gen that was from another vehicle? Buddy at work has a 19 tundra with a diamondback from an f150. Fits pretty decent. I keep looking on marketplace for one and was just wondering if I could broaden my search.

    Lots of stuff!
On the DB website, they show the dimensions for each truck. Just select the truck and go to the specs at the bottom of the page.

The clamps should be typical. You would need to get some foam for the front edge of the bed to fill that gap and there are some shims that go under the plastic bed caps (I didn't use these). I think it would work if the sizes were close.

Clamps would be the thing you really need to verify, give them a call and they'll be happy to help. You'll see at the link ( https://diamondbackcovers.com/products/cap-clamp ) that there's several styles of clamps depending on bed rail style.

I bought my cross bin from someone who had a 3rd gen. Switched the diamondback hd from the 2.5 gen they traded in - fit looked perfect to me. She said diamondback said it wouldn’t fit but she had no problem installing it and it looked to line up really well
