I am working on installing some Demello Hybrid Rock Sliders. I got the side bolts all snuggled up nicely. I was going to drill the holes on the bottom of the frame and noticed the bracket closest to the front of the truck isn't flush with the frame. From the looks of it the reason could be there is a frame weld that is on the way.

For others who have installed the Demello hybrid rock sliders, have you faced the same situation? Did you just drill through the frame weld?

I can’t help other than saying my buddy got Demello sliders for his Tacoma and the fit was terrible he ended up having to modify them quite a bit to work.

That weld doesn't seem to be touching the slider. Looks like the problem might be further back.

Just get several grade 8 washers to fill that gap between the frame and sliders.
