I am editing this post into a review of the PAC AP4-TY14 amplifier integration module.

TL/DR - Pros - Easy installation, nice features, compact size. Cons - Loss of ***Navigation prompts when playing audio through any app and using Android Auto's google maps at the same time.

***PAC confirmed the center channel must remain connected to the factory amp to retain the prompts.

I am in more talks with PAC and several suppliers who have installed this unit. There may be a resolution to the prompt issue soon.

    More detailed,

    My setup
    Pixel 8 Pro
    PAC AP4-TY14 Integration unit
Infinity reference components front and rear
Infinity M6008A 8 Channel Amplifier (No DSP)
Audio Control Matrix Pro Line Driver acting a splitter for the front mids/highs and lows.

Install is easy and straight forward. Unit fits neatly under the storage tray in the top center of the dash. Once its installed, the rest is much like an old school install with an aftermarket headunit. Run your remote, non fader volume knob, and rca cables to your equipment and you're done.

The features are nice, the addition of a minimum volume adjustment is very nice to help tune in the system. I did find that even at max volume there was very little distortion in the output of the PAC unit. I also like the built in beep volume control to customize the sound to my liking. I haven't used the software yet or some of the other features such the "Q" level adjust. If I keep it, Ill try them out and update this review. I like option to select preout voltage (4 or 5 volts) as well to help manage underlying noise in the system more on that below.

****Important note, you need to retain the factory centerchannel connected to the factory amp to retain all your nav prompts.***** This wasn't spelled out in the manual and I disconnected it entirely. I have confirmed the center channel connected to the factory amp is required with PAC.

Once I get that center channel reconnected, I will update this review with how it works.
