Looking at dehumidifiers. Everything you see at HD or Lowes says "died after a year" lol.

    Bump!

In same boat. I have a homelabs 50 pint that died after 1 yr and was warrantied. Second one lasted 2 years.

Now do I keep up with this warranty charade? Cost of having a basement? Or do I invest in something like aprilaire, Santa fe, something commercial, or a knockoff like an alorair? Reviews all still say some died in a year or two.

A buddy suggested Pelonis brand from Menards with a 3 year warranty and buy new every other. Cheap and longest warranty.

I have both of these. One in the camper running full time and the other in the house trying to combat this shaded moisture. Only issue so far is they fill their tanks quickly.

This one I have had for over a year and running every day unless i am camping... so about a month...

This one is newer but running full time and has a spot to connect a drain line too. I just cant speak to longevity yet.
