Are the trim and Tundra badges on the sides, and 4x4 badge on the tailgate all glued on? It's been that way with all my other Toyotas, just checking.

Same two sided sticky tape stuff they've always used. If you have experience removing badges, this truck is no different. I'm literally pulling them off the instant I get home with my truck on Tuesday.

I took mine off the first week and didn’t need fishing line or heat gun or anything. Pulled all the badges right off. There’s a super secret trick for any remaining double sided sticky stuff. Don’t pull out away (perpendicular) from the panel to get it off, pull parallel to the panel (the same way you pull off a 3M Command strip).

I've got a 2nd Gen and I like the de-badged look. So just peel off with fingers, no special tools required? also, I assume you can just take a micro fiber cloth, wet it down and remove any residual adhesive from the paint? Thanks for your help

We don't need no stinkin' badges.

I unfortunately got my truck in winter. The week after I took it home, we saw temps in the negative teens for a week. It finally warmed up some, so I took the badges off. They came off easily, no residue left behind. I'll need to wash off the road grime, but otherwise, it looks great. Just need to color match the mustache and door handles and it'll start looking good.
