No plan on leaving the bumper and grill as is.

Plasti-dip and see how you like them. If you don’t like it, then Debadge.

I think we all start off Plasti-dipping black. Leave it and enjoy it for a few months, read some modding threads here, remove said badges completely as your first 'mod', begin the downward financial spiral as you read more and more here.

Either way, awesome truck. Black plasti-dipped badges would look great

I vote for going to chrome mirror caps and door handles to keep your theme with the bumpers ... or debadge ... or overlay ... but the truck is cool as crap, if that helps.

I vote debadge. Plasti dip is too much work and having no emblems is no work at all! Lol

Leaning towards overlay. I've found some on eBay but for 2014-2019, anyone know if the badges are the same as a 2011.

If you’re ocd at all, either get the real black TRD Pro badges or debadge. I’ve wasted my time with plastidip and overlays and both felt/look half-assed. The TRD Pro badges aren’t much different in price than the overlays, just requires a little more effort.

In order for them to last, you will need to add a couple of coats to them or they won’t last. I have seen some last 3+ years if done correctly but people have made the mistake of applying just one coat which will not hold up. If you are hard core about dipping them, then remove the badges and apply 2-3 coats and then reapply them.

    ——- Be aware——
If you remove them then you might get the bug like the rest of us and just remove them all.

I have attached part of mine before I just removed them all
