The lift kit I've been trying to buy, I can't get or order through the dealership. Is it just as good through a local shop like big o tires for a lift kit? Is there any difference? Thanks.

What lift are you going to use? I personally wouldn’t use a tire shop for anything but tires and maybe an alignment. Ive seen enough shoddy work first hand from Les Schwab I can’t recommend a big chain tire shop. I’d look for a local 4 wheel drive shop or see what the dealer can do for you. The other option is see if they will install your parts for you. If you’re just swapping coilovers it’s pretty dang easy to do a driveway install and then have it aligned.

Unless it is warranty work nothing goes to the dealer.
I do most things myself but if I can’t I have a local shop that is cheaper and better than the dealer.

While I use Big O to mount my tires most of the time they would not be installing my lift if I could not do it myself.

I wouldn't order a lift kit through any shop unless they specialize in your truck, otherwise order shit online and then find somewhere thats mildly competent and have them install it.

Much better stuff for less money out there.
