Just curious what your GEN is and how many times you have had to go to the dealership for repair work not included regular scheduled maintenance. Also maybe the miles you have on your Tundra. I’ll start!

    2017 Tundra Limited 15,400 miles

    0 visits to the dealer.

Also, maybe the reason for going.

I have a hard time with cruise control and it randomly bulldozes helpless mail boxes in search of cliffs... especially when cops are behind me. And I don’t know if I mentioned but my outside thermometer doesn’t work!!

    2017 SR5 5.7ffv

15k - only visits for oil but they’ve fixed some minor recall items while they had it.

    2005, 162,000KMS.

1 visit when I bought it used with 132,000 on it to flush and replace all the fluids and do an inspection. 1 visit for the SRS airbag recall.

Everything else has been routine: oil changes (do my own now), timing belt, water pump, alignment

EDIT: According to the service records at the dealership, it was brought in only for routine maintenence by the original owner and for the frame rust recall when it was coated with the rust proofing spray.

Nice! It would be interesting to know if the previous owner had any issues.

Damn! Not bad. Even the fluid flush is routine so only the airbags.

Yeah, not bad at all. I love my truck

Forgot about the frame rust recall the original owner had dealt with. Added to my first post. ;)

I've personally replaced the muffler and one sway bar stabilizer. No dealership visit for those so they don't count. :D

I know the previous owner works the oil fields so he was on the highway a lot with it

I go for oil changes , I live 15 min away and they have a good fast lane service , coupons mailed to me etc . So six times so far . I figure if they screw it up they are on the hook for a new engine. Oh and they have a Starbucks coffee machine that grinds the beans for each cup ! So I at least get $5 worth of coffee out of it as well.

1 trip for something other than maintenance. I noticed my front bumper was not level driver to passenger right after I got it. In hindsight I should have just done it myself and saved a trip to the dealer. Most people wouldn't have even noticed though to be honest...OCD sucks.

    1 for hyper tech install.
1 for hyper tech replacement after it failed.
1 for headunit touch screen not working/ head unit replacement.
1 and most likely the last time for my alignment, tire pressure, and tire balance problem. If they would have just replaced the tires(even split the cost) and admitted fault we would be good. But they chose the “try and blow smoke up my ass” approach. To bad there is 5 or 6 dealers in like a 30 mile radius.

2018, 10,000 miles, one software recall notice. Took it in the same time my 5,000 free service was due. Had them do the software update, rotate the tires, shut off the danged seat belt warning beeper and we're good to go. I do the oil/filter changes myself.
