Since I took delivery of my 22 Plat in Feb, I've kept a list of some minor issues along the way that I asked my dealer to correct during my first oil and filter change. I decided to do my first change at 2,500 miles. This was the dealerships first 22 Tundra that was getting the oil and filter changed.
I spoke to the master tech about the early oil change and is it worth it, etc. He said that it's not going to hurt, he does it with his cars and these long service intervals are intended to keep maintenance costs down. Few notes to share with the group.

Driver and passenger rear window trim gap- service manager ordered two new rubber trim pieces to only find out they still present the gap that most owners observed in both driver and passenger rear windows. He stated a bulletin would likely be coming out to correct this but purely speculation.
Digital fuel gauge showing full- I've kept detailed records of when my gas tank wasn't full yet the gauge showed full. Me disconnected the neg battery terminal corrected this on 2 occasions but I asked they find a longer term fix. There was a program flash completed and apparently this should fix the issue.
Negative Battery Post- I noticed that the connection to the negative post on the battery was wobbly. I couldn't tighten it down. The dealer determined that the post on the battery wasn't the same as another 22 Tundra battery next to my truck. Defective possibly?? They tried different connectors with the same result, the connection was loose. They put a new battery in and issue resolved.
Windshield Wipers- One of my wipers wasn't sitting properly leaving a wide streak of untouched water on the window. Dealer replaced both wipers.
Exterior Door Trim- I've see other plat owners state that the black molding is peeling off. Mine was like that from day one. I showed the service manager yesterday and he said he would just order me a new set.

Glad these are just minor, easy to fix issues. Good luck on the trim, it will be resolved eventually.

My truck is a week out, hopefully no issues or only minor things like these. I’m nervous about getting the first pro in my region but I am committed and taking the chance.

We are taking that new model year risk but overall I absolutely love the truck. Comfort, acceleration, infotainment system, etc.
The other Tundra in service I saw yesterday has been there for a month. Manager said it keeps stalling and they’ve been waiting for a program update.
