Dealer Add-Ons

When buying a new vehicle, what are some necessary add ons to ask for to throw in during the deal? All weather floor mats, gun safe etc?

 

You can get better floor mats online. I ended up purchasing the charging tray and safe separately. They’re easy to install and much cheaper than going through the dealer. I was happy that my truck included a spray in bedliner. Doing that on my own would have been the same cost and I would have had to give up my truck for a couple of days to get it done.

 

I ended up getting a trd shift knob in Black and they gave me the all weather liners too. Figured I would ask them for something in addition to the other upgrades it came with

 

Have them give you 20% all part purchases for as long as you own it.

Ask for the tailgate automatic lock. They gave me the part but said they’d charge for install. I installed it myself.

 

After negotiating a price I then asked for a hard tri fold cover.
