Planning on replacing OEM fogs on my 2016 Tundra, leaning towards DD SS3 vs the BD Squadron SAE. One thing that concerns though me is the wiggle. Somewhat unacceptable to have to zip tie $300+ fog lights in place so they stop wiggling around (and go in and replace the zip ties every time they break). Eventhough performance-wise the DD is superior for road applications, it could be deal breaker for me. Aware that it's a toyota problem.
Is it true the BD system has a a more sturdy mounting system?
    Thanks in advance

I have BD Squadron Sports for fogs, which mount up the same. The BD install kit has some rubber “shim” material that takes any slack out of the fit. They all mount to a somewhat pliable bumper end cap assembly, so asking for a rock-solid mount is a bit unreasonable.

That said, I do not notice any wiggle or shimmy with my fog lights. They’ve been fantastic.

I have no knowledge of Diode Dynamics lighting, but would assume they should mount up similarly. May need a small rubber shim to make a tight fit?

I have the DD's and yeah they wiggle a lot and it's annoying. I did the zip ties for a few times but now uses wire tie and that hasn't broken yet. The output of the DD pros are insane and once I wire tied them up, i've had no issues.

I thought the same thing with the zip ties. If it’s made for the tundra, it shouldn’t need them. They are a pain to adjust, so you really want to make sure it’s where you want them before putting everything back together and hope you never have to mess with them again. Huge difference once they are on. I did the SS3 max in Amber.

Interesting. No real wiggle with my DDs.
Have them in my wife’s Suburban as well. The trim bezel could be a little better fitting on the Suburban but a solid mount.

I went with DD and I thought the same thing. I ended up using zip ties because of the flimsy mount area anyway. The zip ties were really helpful to tighten and align them exactly how I wanted. I really don't have any vibration issues since and they are extremely bright and a good value.

It's all about the fitment of your OEM fog light bezels and very little to do with the aftermarket light. Some have bezels that wiggle more than others. Doesn't seem to have a rhyme or reason for it. BD does have an overall better approach to brackets and such vs DD, though.

Thank you everyone for the very informative replies! Very much OEM bezel problem which I have to deal. @TRDFURGUSON brought up a good point and the answer I was looking for.

DD's do wiggle. Zip tied appropriately they work fine though. I ran mine for a while on rough terrain, snow, etc. without ever needing to replace zipties. For me its worth the performance even if i have to mess with zip ties. I run a steel bumper now and fabbed mounts so its rock solid.

SS3 Pro Max. On the road, not a whole bunch of wiggle unless the road is real bad. Off-road, they wiggle a lot. It kind of sucks. Because, the light output is really good. They by far are more powerful then my high beams. I rarely even use the high beams.
