I posted about DD fogs, ended up ordering. I see the stealth bumper light and considering using them instead. My objective is to light the road to see the deer/moose/bears. This it typically done with high beam, which when on, the fogs are off.

Considering the stealth bumper combo, using a relay such that they come on with high beams- in theory the fog portion of the combo will illuminate the shoulders.

    Anyone try a similar setup?

Just upgraded to the Diode Dynamics SS3 Max fogs. Unreal, they are super bright and provide much more side lighting than the originals. Here's a pic of just the fogs on.

    Get both.
I pity the halogen peasants who will get an x-ray the next time they want to flash me for having my low beams on

Most of those pheasants headlamps are hazed over so they just drive around with the high beams on.:annoyed:

    I had this on my 2012 sr5.

I've diode dynamics fogs on my 23. They are great and much better than factory, way wider and brighter pattern but they dont throw very far down the road. The stealth bar would be much better for that. I did read somewhere on here that the high beams run off canbus and not a dedicated wire so u would need a module to be able to piggyback off the high beam circuit. I haven't actually looked into but that's definitely what someone else was posting.

Thanks for the info. I have a 1794 with the CAN controlled highs. Looks like another benjamin if I want to run with high beam controlling stealth bar.
