Curious for people running these HD’s with 5100’s and 2885 front coils…… do you still Maintain factory rake just lifted? I’ve been working with a shop about my 5100’s and I told them the rear leafs would be roughly 1.5-2” lift and he was like, well if it’s two inch your rear shock could run a little short. They do have a rear shock that would work but he was adamant that if the HD leafs lifted the rear 2” that the rear 5100 shocks would be a touch short.

I guess I’m curious since the 5100’s up front with 2885 coils would give me a roughly 1.75” lift up front what will this do to my rake. (Or is what I’m reading true that 5100’s up front won’t lift the truck more than 1”)

Does anyone have the set up I’m looking at getting? If so what is your rake looking like? I’d like to maintain some rake and DO NOT want to level the truck. I will be loading my bed and would only want it level once loaded, not empty!

sorry for the repetitive post, but the forums are full of miss content and so many different answers.

    cheers
